Sri Lanka Inventors Commission is a statutory board established according to Act No. 53 of 1979 for the purpose of promoting local inventors operative under the purview of the Ministry of Education. Presently Commission consists of a Commissioner and two Assistant Commissioners. Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka who are qualified for the vacant post of Legal Officer of Sri Lanka Inventors Commission.
LEGAL OFFICER (01 Post)
Educational Qualifications and Experience : Possession of a Law Degree (LL.B) recognized by the University Grants Commission and Attorney-at-Law and Having obtained at least one (01) year relevant experience in the field related to the post after graduation.
Job Description : Providing necessary legal assistance in the process of commercialization of inventors and intellectual property related tasks, meeting inventors’ legal needs, problems and overall corporate legal needs.
Salary Scale : MM 1-2-2016 – Rs. 54,550 – 10×1,375 – 1501,910 – Rs. 96,950.00
Other Benefits: There will be 1596 & 396 Contribution to EPF & ETF respectively.
Age Limit : Should be between 22-45 years.
Marks will be given at the interview based on relevant additional educational qualifications, relevant additional experience, professional & other qualifications & performance at the interview.
