Or can students who are not interested in subjects like politics and history choose the law field? These results reveal the answers to such questions.

There are many students who wrongly choose difficult subjects in order to getting the university admission with no guidance on the subject of difficult subjects. Therefore, it is wise to choose the subjects that he wants and can learn in his school or territory.

Students also have to be explained a few things about the z-score at this place. As for the GCE Advanced Level, the z-score not only influences the admission of universities, but also the selection of university colleges and higher education institutions. The z – score for a given subject is determined by the average marks of students who have passed a particular subject. The higher the average marks for a subject, the higher the number of students choosing a subject and getting more marks. Even though students get better in the subject at this time, the z – score for the subject is lower. For example, when the students from the fields of Arts, Commerce and Technology selects the subjects like ICT, Economic, There will be a chance to reduce the z-score for these subjects. However, no one can be certain that the z-score for next year’s subject will be lower or higher. It will be determined by the students’ marks in the subject.

Thus, students who opt for science and mathematics will usually choose subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, and combined mathematics. Students who opt for technology and Commerce are forced to choose two subjects and confused as to which of the 11 subjects is the third.

Most importantly, students pursuing the arts stream face difficulties in selecting subjects. Students studying in the field of arts have the opportunity to choose subjects from four categories – social science, religious, aesthetic, and language. The higher the z-score, the more interconnected the subjects are, the better the learning process and university choice. As already mentioned, the subjects of choice should be taken in consideration of the students’ preferences and the facilities for learning the subjects.

The first objective of the students should be to pass the GCE Advanced Level Examination.
